Grace & James is in the King’s Heath area in the south of Birmingham, just a bit further on from Moseley.
Most of the organic and natural wines on the shelf opposite the drinks counter were in the £20-25 bracket, with a few of the more exotic running to £45-50. If you drink these in the restaurant, corkage is added.
I chose a French Sauvignon Blanc and an Austrian Zweigelt from the menu of the day near the bar. We had the white wine with the starters, which included gildas, a delicious olive and anchovy dish, and we drank the red eith the main courses, a kind of lamb stew with orzo, and then the steak and frites.
