This is a small but friendly wine store in the historic heart of Oxford. When you walk through the door, it feels a bit like stepping back in time or entering a parallel universe.
The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and the wine selection is eclectic and intetesting, but also with a sensible range of price points so you don’t have to break the bank.
Unusual wines from Greece and Austria caught my eye, but there were bottles from around the world, and the Chilean and Argentian selection looked exotic and worth trying.
We walked out with a white Cotes de Rhone, a Montsant from Catalonia and an Austrian Zweigelt. Total cost around £37 and looking forward to drinking and reviewing these on @easywheeling in due course.
